I created this website with two reasons in mind.
The first is to share with you something about me, about my work and how can I help – that is, to introduce to you myself as a therapist.
The other is for this website itself to be a source of help for anyone interested in or curious about therapy – that is, in other words, to help introduce to you psychotherapy.
You might be someone who has played with the idea of starting psychotherapy for some years now, but are still feeling a bit skeptical or just wondering why bother? You might be someone who really wishes to seek some immediate help, but find yourself drowned in the ocean of information and treatment options, not really knowing where to begin… Or you might be someone, who is interested in therapy, but still wonders “who is psychotherapy really for?”, unsure if it can indeed benefit you personally and add growth, or any other meaningful advancement to your life. If you can relate yourself to any of these questions, or are simply someone with a curious mind and an interest in the field, then this website was written with you in mind…
Its’ aim is to try to offer in one place an up-to-date, professional, accurate and objective information about psychotherapy in general, that you can read in as much detail as you wish – what exactly is it, who can benefit from it, what are the main myths and misconceptions surrounding its’ effectiveness and use, and to offer answers to some of the most common questions people usually have on Psychotherapy.
